User Interface for Technology Control
Zapletal, Filip ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This paper describes systems and user interfaces for monitoring and supervisory control of technological equipment. It describes basic approaches used to solve this problem, commonly used communication protocols and existing user interfaces. Based on those findings are defined requirements for design of a modern user interface for technology supervision and control, particularly in the area of clean and waste water distribution systems. The thesis concludes with a description of a user interface based on defined requirements and finally compares them with existing systems.
Wastewater treatment plant testbed controlled by PLC
Kopáč, Ondřej ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Pospíšil, Ondřej (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of a wastewater treatment plant, which will be controlled by a PLC. The theoretical part describes the types of wastewater and sewage systems that are important in the design of wastewater treatment plants. The thesis also describes programmable logic controllers, theirs programming languages, SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems and automation. The thesis also deals with theoretical description of wastewater treatment plants, their functions and security. Next part describes the design of the wastewater treatment plant. The last part of the thesis describes implementation of the wastewater treatment plant controlled by a PLC.
HMI for BECKHOFF TWINCAT 3
Balga, Ondřej ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of HMI in the C # programming language for BECKHOFF TWINCAT 3. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on description of .NET framework, WPF, MVVM, Prism and software tools used in the thesis. The following chapter focuses on creating a development environment and a runtime. All functionalities and capabilities of the created application are described. The created development environment and runtime are used and demonstrated on the sample solution.
Dispatching control of a public transport substation
Madzia, Adam ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the dispatching control of public transport substations. It contains a research about companies that are creating dispatching control of substations for public transport and a description of the technology they use. Following chapters contain the designed structure of the whole control system, a description of the individual components which were used in this thesis and the design of the structure of communication interfaces with the definition of individual communication protocols which were used. In the next section there is a simulation of public transport substation created on the PLC and a visualization for HMI panel which represents its local control system. In the following part, the design and implementation of the data storage system was created by using the Firebird database tool and Promotic SCADA software. The last chapter of the thesis contains creation of the SCADA application for the dispatching control.
IoT Traffic Generation and Detection of Security Incidents
Pristaš, Ján ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
The main purpose of my bachelor thesis is to design and create operation generating system of IoT networks, creating security incidents and their detection. First part describes basic principles of IoT networks, SCADA systems and communication protocols IEC 60870-5-104 and DLMS/COSEM. Subsequently there are described industrial tools emulating operation of SCADA systems using investigated protocols. The next section describes the security of these systems, along with the risks they face. Based on this information, a tool was designed and implemented to simulate various types of attacks on SCADA systems and track their reactions. The last part of the work is devoted to the possibilities of detecting di erent types of attacks and how to protect the networks from them.
Control system for cleaning station CIP used for cleaning of milk processing equipment
Šindelář, Petr ; Slezák, Petr (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The thesis describes hardware and software of Control system for cleaning station CIP used for cleaning of milk processing equipment. The description of hardware contains definitions and number of PLC modules for PLC Simatic S7-300. The software part contains programs for PLC, SCADA software for WinCC flexible 2005 and the description of the computer's model.
Traffic generator of industrial protocols
Šnajdr, Václav ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with generating data traffic of industrial SCADA protocols and their implementation into JMeter tool. This tool can be expanded with plugins. Three protocols DNP3, IEC61850 and IEC60870-5 are described in the theoretical part. The practical part is devoted to the design and implementation of the DNP3 protocol module and partly to the design of the IEC61850 protocol. The DNP3 module has been functionally tested. There is also an attempt to obtain the TASE.2 library.
Distributed Control System with Dynamically Evolvable Nodes on RPi Zero Platform
Szymik, Michal ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work focuses on the development of a distributed control system that runs on multiple Raspberry Pi Zero devices and enables dynamic reconfiguration of its topology. The platform is implemented in Python in the form of a runtime environment. This work also describes how to develop applications for this system and introduces a script that facilitates the installation of an application onto the system nodes. The system described works and a sample application demonstrates its functionality.
Experimental Evaluation of Clock Synchronization for Networked Control Systems
Pacner, Jan ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
Within this topic, a testing environment is built, where different clock synchronization methods are evaluated in order to establish a maximal achievable clock precision in a distributed SCADA system based on the QNX operating system. Furthermore a measurement of parameters of communication for different technologies and circumstances is taken. For this purpose, porting of the PTP protocol to QNX OS is necessary.
Monitoring system for gasification of wood chips
Vaško, Radim ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
In my work, I am developing measuring application for monitoring gas quality. I explain the technological process of measurement by spectrometric sensors. I design an industrial cabinet with PLC. I’m explaining algorithms of program for PLC AMiT AMiNi4DS. I describe inner communication of system. I assemble device mechanically and electrically. I am then setting the system ready for use. I create SCADA project for application. I describe the general characteristic of SCADA systems and specific SCADA software Reliance 4.
